This container is big enough to store large quantity of bird food and it looks attractive so does not need to be hidden away. (Posted on 11/01/2017)

Very robust and useful but heavy when full! Review by Liz

I bought the 25L container - it's generally well made but had clearly been a bit battered BEFORE being enamelled/painted so that the dents are highlighted by the finish, which was slightly disappointing.
I very much like the clips on the lid - they're firm but easy for a human to undo. My only problem was that once I'd filled it I couldn't move it, so had to put it in position before filling. (Posted on 20/05/2016)

Bought one of these following buying a 5L size earlier. As I was happy with the smaller 5L I thought I would give this larger one a try. Excellent vermin proof design container. One handle on lid and one larger handle to lift and hang on separate bracketto coveient height if require I used to buy small gavanised dustbin style containers, but the lid catches on this model are simple and more effective. Any larger would be a bit too heavy to move when full, but I would still consider an even lager one for standing storage, if they made them. Very happy with these goods and very good service from Garden Wildlife Direct. John Wolff (Posted on 03/05/2016)
Good strong containers to store bird food Review by Stephen Griffiths

I bought these containers to help prevent the bird food I store in my allotment shed from being eaten by mice. Up until now I have used plastic containers or buckets with lids, but the local mouse mafia were increasingly getting in by chewing their way though the plastic. So I bought these metal 25 litre containers. They arrived very promptly and they are now in the shed, full of bird seed, suet pellets and meal worms. The containers are made from good quality steel with clip-on lids and sturdy handles. Excellent quality and worth the price.
The mice have been evicted and the food is safe. Sorry, mice. No more free snacks for you! (Posted on 17/12/2015)
