Caged Worm Feeder helps ensures that smaller birds will get a mealworm feast.

Wild birds love mealworms, ideally live!!! but also the dried varieties. Unfortunately large birds will eat them leaving none for the smaller birds.

Fadulla's Caged mealworm Feeder will prevent large birds getting to the worms whilst letting smaller garden birds feast on the mealworms.

The cage will allow in Robins, Wrens, Tits and other small birds.

The central feeder cup is nice and deep to prevent live mealworms escaping.

Great Bird Feeder Review by Joanne

I have already purchased two of these feeders for myself and this one was for my mother. I have previously bought every bird feeder on the market and ended up disappointed. This is by far the best feeder, and the birds agree with me - they love it. You can see from the amount of time they spend in there that they feel safe and secure and squirrels can't get in, provided you attach the handle correctly. I fill it with a selection of seeds, 2 different suet logs and suet pellets. I would thoroughly recommend this feeder. (Posted on 08/07/2016)
Bit disappointed Review by sian

It's OK but starlings still get in and scoff the lot. I love my baby starlings and spend a fortune feeding them but would like a feeder that only tits and robins can access. Sadly this is not it. Holes too big. (Posted on 24/05/2016)
Good value, cheaper than other suppliers Review by Jacqui

This arrived very well packed and ready for use, no self-assembly required. Quite a sturdy wire cage with an arm for hanging it up if you like. I use mine on a table in the garden. It's really funny watching lots of Starlings running round and round it, trying to work out how to gain access. The little birds took about an hour to work out what needed to be done but once they had, of course they just kept going back. One Starling did stretch right inside and managed to reach the bowl but at least the cage does stop them emptying the whole lot before the others get a chance. The Magpie came and had a quick look and obviously decided it was too much like hard work, so he gave up. I'm glad I purchased this product and I like the price too, my other bird food supplier wanted double the amount! (Posted on 18/05/2016)

After leaving a review on 18/4/16 I need to give an update.
Today I looked out my window to the garden and saw a magpie attacking a bird in the Fadulla feeder. There was frantic flapping going on. I ran out to scare the magpie away. I was met with a heartbreaking sight. A Siskin had been caught by the neck by the magpie who had obviously tried to drag it out the cage. The Siskin was still alive but there was blood everywhere. The saddest part was its buddy - watching - making a call from a nearby tree. I carefully got the little bird out of the cage but the kindest thing was to put it out its misery. Very sad and so easily avoided had it not been in the caged feeder. I know nature can be cruel but without the cage the little Siskin would've had a better chance to escape.
I have taken the feeder down and it will be going in the bin. I'd rather deal with the bigger birds than be responsible for a small bird becoming trapped and panicking inside while being attacked.

I purchased 2 of these hoping to deter the crows, jackdaws & magpies. The small bird just weren't interested & the dried mealworms rotted in the tray (ugh!)
I now half fill the feeder with Fat balls & all the birds have a feast. (Posted on 22/04/2016)

Unfortunately the birds have not actually gone in to the cage. They look interested and look in but nothing more. Blue tits, great tits and chaffinches - I'm wondering if the holes are big enough?! (Posted on 18/04/2016)

Perfect Review by Marie-France

Only the smallest birds can get to the food, so it is perfect to keep the larger birds out completely, as well as squirrels. It is fascinating to watch the birds finding the entrances at firstm but before long they can find their way in and out without any hesitation and at speed. (Posted on 29/02/2016)
