Unfortunately birds do leave a mess when they feed that can leave behind a wide range of bacteria and viruses which can be passed onto other wild birds. Using Ark-Klens to disinfectant feeders, bird baths and other areas birds have been can ensure the good health of the birds visiting your garden.
The product is recommended against E.coli, Salmonella, psittacosis and flu viruses. It is made a blend of benzalkonium chloride (quaternary ammonium compounds or QAC´s) specially selected for safety of use. This family of chemicals are powerful disinfectants with an additional detergent and deodorising action.The 250ml concentrate makes up to 100 litres of distinfectant when combined with water.
Use in conjunction with a feeder brush to ensure a thorough clean - available separately.
