Ark-Klens Ready to Use 500ml Disinfectant has been developed by veterinary experts to ensure it is both effective and safe for use around animals.
Bird feeding areas can quickly become contaminated, as leftover food and droppings may harbour bacteria and viruses that can spread to other wild birds. Regular use of Ark-Klens on feeders, bird baths, and surrounding areas helps maintain a cleaner environment and supports the health of visiting birds.
With built-in cleaning and odour-neutralising properties, it not only disinfects but also keeps surfaces fresh. It’s ideal for routine use on bird tables, feeders, drinking bowls, nest boxes, cages, and other bird care equipment. Ark-Klens is effective against a range of pathogens, including E. coli, Salmonella, psittacosis, and certain flu viruses. The solution contains benzalkonium chloride (a quaternary ammonium compound), carefully selected for its strong disinfecting, detergent, and deodorising properties, while remaining safe to use as directed.
Supplied in a convenient 500ml ready-to-use spray bottle, it’s quick and easy to apply.
For general disinfection, it can also be diluted at 10ml per 5 litres of water if required. For best results, use alongside a feeder brush to ensure a thorough clean (available separately).
