Arrived damaged Review by uknationalbird

Unfortunately due to the way this item was packaged with the peanuts it arrived damaged; the mesh had been pushed in around the upper set of posts. A discount of 20% was offered. Aside from this I would look for a feeder with more robust mesh when purchasing a peanut feeder in the future. (Posted on 31/08/2017)

Basic but does the job Review by Sarah

I chose this one because the wires at the bottom are covered, so they cannot be ripped up by the squirrels. Before use I reinforced the seem with garden wire so it cannot be pulled apart. I've had this a few weeks now and the squirrels haven't managed to damage it. However, its downfall is the way it opens and hangs up. The bayonet light bulb fitting style makes it easy to open and fill, and easy to dislodge and empty by the squirrels! (Posted on 07/03/2017)

Good item but did confuse a bit trying to open it to fill it - Once you realise it unlocks and relocks like a light bulb bayonet fitting its fine (Posted on 08/11/2016)
GOOD. Review by OLIVER

I needed a new feeder, and it needed to be stainless steel, rather than some of the soft metal alternatives available elsewhere on the internet, so it had to be able to withstand attack by squirrels. A squirrel will rip one of the mild steel feeders to pieces the first time they have a go at it to steal the peanuts. This was good value, and whilst the mesh and top were stainless steel, the hanging handle seemed to made of different metal and easily bent, also, the removal/fastening method via a plastic ring at the top was very poor design, which I removed to locate the hanging handle in the actual squares of the mesh. Despite this I still think this was a good product, and the plastic part can be easily removed if you want to fit it directly to the mesh squares. (Posted on 15/09/2016)

Nice but not squirrel proof Review by Maria

I bought this nut feeder as it has a locking lid and the squirrels were knocking my last one off the feeding station and the nuts would fall out when on the floor. At first I was impressed but, unfortunately there have been a number of occasions when the nut cage has been on knocked on the floor with the lid still hanging on the hook! (Posted on 28/06/2016)

Arrived broken. Plastic around the top which is not strong enough for the size of the feeder. Contacted customer support and they were great. Refunded at once. (Posted on 20/04/2016)
A cheap feeder, lightweight, reasonable value for the price Review by Patricia

This feeder is not all metal, some plastic is involved inside the rim and this engages with the lid. It may not last very long in practice, but we'll see. For the price, reasonable value, it's cheaply made, thin metal - I could bend it - not sure what the squirrel will make of it. Also does not feel very secure re the lid when twisted in the plastic rim. However, it does the job, for now. (Posted on 05/04/2016)
