High in energy, sunflower hearts chips are a valuable and nutritious seed to have in any garden.
With a wide variety of wild birds that love them, sunflower hearts are a totally versatile and easy seed to feed. Best of all, as they have no husks, the birds will eat the whole seed, leaving little if no mess around your feeding station.
In the chipping process a very small percentage of fragments of black sunflower shell may be left attached to the heart chips. This may come away from the chip whilst in transit. The black husks will in no way harm birds or impact the great nutriotional benefit of these heart chips.
Due to this being a natural product, the chip's size and look can be determined by the weather during the growing period. This year's harvest has resulted in smaller sunflower seeds with the chips being smaller than usual.
