Black Sunflower Seeds in Paper Bags

Garden Wildlife Direct are delighted to introduce our Black Sunflower Seeds, supplied in recyclable and plastic-free paper bags to support more environmentally friendly feeding. A versatile and cost-effective option, they are loved by a wide variety of garden birds.

With a naturally high oil content, as well as protein and other essential vitamins and minerals, Black Sunflower Seeds provide wild birds with the fats and energy they need all year round. A more affordable alternative to peanuts, they can be fed in multiple ways to suit your feeding station.

Due to the way Black Sunflower Seed is harvested, the product may contain small pieces of stalk that resemble twigs. Most Black Sunflower Seed sold for bird food is sorted to a 98% level of purity, whereas our product is sorted to 99% to reduce - but not entirely eliminate - stalk and other natural impurities.

Pricing Update:
Due to rising paper costs and the need to ship our paper bags in protective boxes to prevent damage and support more environmentally responsible packaging, a small price increase has been applied to reflect higher material, packaging, and handling expenses.

Poor weather has caused one of the worst sunflower crops in Europe in over 10 years, resulting in higher prices and the average sunflower seed being smaller in size. While seed size may vary, the nutritional value remains unchanged.

Please note that the 25kg sacks of Black Sunflower Seeds are delivered as 2 x 12.55kg sacks.

We recommend storing your bird food in an airtight container in a cool and dry location, to ensure that it remains fresh for the period up to the best before date.
