Small birds enter cautiously, but, so far, no squirrels. Accees hatch clip on top is poor - I've added a bolt to hold it. (Posted on 29/06/2018)
The blue tits love it Review by Hilary Broadbent

Very pleased with the feeder. Magpies can't get at the fat balls, hurray. I use it for peckaballs which the long tailed prefer, although I've not seen any using the feeder yet, but the blue tits love it. I have cut down a milicano coffee lid in the bottom of tube, so the peckaballs do not fall out as they diminish in size. They prefer the peckaballs with mealworm rather than the berry flavour. Some of the blue tits have problems finding the larger holes to get into the feeder and I even saw one squeeze it's way in via a normal hole. (Posted on 20/06/2018)
Keeps out unwanted visitors Review by Alan

The feeder is quite large and bulky but does the job I wanted of keeping off the jackdaws which would empty the normal feeders in hours. Quite expensive but well made and ultimately saving money on fat balls. (Posted on 13/06/2018)

We don't get squirrels but we do get jackdaws and pigeons, and this feeder has made a big difference for the smaller birds in the garden. I still put food out for the larger birds because they need to eat too, but the sparrows and tits, including many young ones, are munching their way through the fat balls in this feeder without being hassled and frightened away. It took about 20 minutes for the first sparrow to have a look, and since then it has been very much in demand. I'm now needing to refill the feeder once a week, rather than every day. I very much recommend this. (Posted on 12/06/2018)

Stops all the large birds (Crows, Rooks, Magpies, etc.) devouring the fat balls. After being hung for only 10 minutes it was being used by Blue Tits, Great Tits, Sparrows & Long Tail Tits. Now the fat balls last a week instead of a day. (Posted on 05/03/2018)

Stops big birds eating all the fat balls, after one day I had long tailed tits using it. (Posted on 21/01/2018)

Best bird feeder I have seen. When I first saw it on screen, I thought a bit expensive for a bird feeder but let's have a look at it anyway. I was amazed how big it was when it arrived and it is so easy to fill. Fantastic feeder. Even our resident robin gets into it. really good value. If the size was included, I think you would sell a lot more. Just forward my commission when you are ready!!!! (Posted on 19/12/2017)

Delighted with the feeder, at last the smaller birds can feed without Magpies taking over. The fat balls are lasting a lot longer now! (Posted on 16/08/2017)
