The Mesh Ground Guard is the best way to help protect your ground feeders full of nutritious bird food from being emptied by large birds and protects against predators such as cats, kestrels and sparrow hawks. Place the metal mesh ground guard over your ground feeder to allow only smaller garden birds gain access to the food.

The mesh ground guard will prevent all cats and large birds such as pigeons, pheasants (and unfortunately blackbirds) from accessing the ground feeder. Please note the mesh ground guard allows squirrels to access the food.

Give your small feathered friends a place to feed in peace and away from any danger all year round with both of these powder-coated steel ground guards, and attach your squirrel guard to the ground using the supplied plastic clips which make certain that no predators will be able to move this ground guard and it will also stay in place during windy weather to keep the bird food safe for small wild birds. Refill your ground feeder inside by opening the top of the squirrel guardian.
