We're sorry but unfortunately we are experiencing supply issues and as a result are unsure when we will be receiving new stock.

Wild birds love mealworms, ideally live!!! but also the dried varieties. Unfortunately large birds will eat them leaving none for the smaller birds.

Fadulla's Caged mealworm Feeder will prevent large birds getting to the worms whilst letting smaller garden birds feast on the mealworms.

The cage will allow in Robins, Wrens, Tits and other small birds.

The central feeder cup is nice and deep to prevent live mealworms escaping.

Fantastic, the large birds did visit initially however soon discovered they could not get the mealie worms so went away. The small birds took about three hours before going to investigate . Once they had decovered how to get in it was wonderful to see them enjoying the worms without any trouble from the starlings . I would certainly recommend this product but be patient . An ingenious feeder which is good for all types of small bird food, not only mealworms. It keeps out anything larger than a starling, but you can put food on the top as well if you wish to feed blackbirds etc whilst still discouraging gulls who find it beyond them to perch on it. Very impressed by the feeder and also GardenWildlifeDirect who speedily put right a problem with my order in a most professional way. Order with confidence. (Posted on 15/06/2018)
Wouldn't bother again Review by Lois Robson

Well, the starlings are defeated, but so are all other small birds - except for baby blue tits. The holes are too small even for sparrows and adult tits, so it has a very limited season of use. I'm thinking of widening the holes by making them square rather than the oval shape they come in, but I'm concerned the edges might be too sharp for the birds. The lid is very stiff, too. I haven't been able to open it more than once, and have resorted to pouring the seed / mealworms through the sides. Pity, cos I really wanted it to work.
The best starling deterrent feeder has been my neighbour's homemade one - 1 1/2 inch square green wire encircling a tube feeder, and enclosed top and bottom. My advice: make one. (Posted on 14/06/2018)

Had blue tit and robins nest in garden but larger birds ate, the meal worms I mean not the blue tits or robin. With the meal worm feeder targeted the smaller of our feathered friends. Only criticism is costing me a fortune in meal worms. (Posted on 11/06/2018)

At this moment in time I can't give a proper review as the birds are not coming to feed. It's been out since it arrived, full of goodies and the birds don't want to know it! (Posted on 01/11/2017)

Purchased this item for feeding small birds and to keep squirrels off. Looks great and well made, unfortunately the birds don't like it so probably a waste of money. (Posted on 28/08/2017)
