Stop squirrels and other pests stealing suet blocks intended for smaller birds with the innovative Squirrel Buster Suet Feeder. The weight adjustable mechanism of the Suet Feeder causes a guard to move down, instantly preventing access to the tasty suet blocks inside, meaning only smaller birds can easily feed. Adjust the weight mechanism depending on which bird species you want to feed.

The tough steel cage protects two standard suet cakes. The negative grip tube prevents squirrels from grasping the wire hanging with their hind legs, so they cannot hang down alongside the feeder and defeat the closing mechanism.

Placement:

As it is the squirrel's weight that triggers the closing mechanism, the suet feeder needs to be placed with a clearance of 18 inch (47cm). If a squirrel can reach over from a neaby foothold and avoid placing its weight on the feeder, it will be able to access the suet cake. Allowing for an 18 inch clearance forces the squirrel to climb onto the feeder, which will then trigger the closing mechanism and prevent access.
