Our Layers Mash is a nutritious, quality feed which is suitable for laying hens. This mash can be fed both alone or alongside feeding some treats or greens should you wish.
Layers mash can be fed both dry or with a little water added, we suggest you offer each bird approximately 125g of mash per day - and we advise you only put out what your poultry will consume within two days. Any unused or old food should be replaced every couple of days to ensure your hens are only provided with fresh, high quality feed.
The Layers Mash has been carefully formulated with a good balance of proteins, vitamins and minerals to help ensure your hens are kept in good health, provide strong egg shells and offer a rich yellow yolk colour.
This Layers Mash may only be fed to laying hens and should be used for the target animals only.

Wheat, Sunflower Meal Feed Stock, Calcium Carbonate, Maize Distiller (produced from GM Maize), *Hipro Soyabean Meal (produced from GM soya), Maize (produced from GM Maize), Wheat Feed, Fat, Layer Premix, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Bicarbonate, Lucantin Forte Premix, DL-Methionine 3c301. * - produced with certified sustainable soya (bean) meal.
Analytical Constituents:
Crude Oil - 3.75%, Crude Protein - 15.50%, Crude Fibre - 4.5%, Crude Ash - 12.25%, Moisture - 13.50%, Methionine - 0.32%, Lysine - 0.57%, Sodium - 0.17%, Calcium - 3.86%, Phosphorus - 0.44%, Copper - 16.00mg/kg, Selenium - 0.25mg/kg.
Storage:

General Feeding Advice:
- Always ensure a clean supply of drinking water.
- Feeders should always be kept clean and filled with fresh feed.
- Provide a source of appropriate poultry grit which aids in the digestion of feed.
- Oyster Shell grit is a valuable source of slow release Calcium which is important for shell formation in laying birds.
- Whole grain feeds can be fed either with an appropriate feeder or used as a scratch feed by scattering in the feeding area.
