StorageWe recommend storing your bird food in an airtight container in a cool and dry location, to ensure that it remains fresh for the period up to the best before date.
Hygiene
Always ensure wild birds have plenty of fresh, clean water for drinking and bathing. Clean feeding and drinking areas regularly with a mild disinfectant. Keep food fresh and dry, removing any wet food to prevent the spread of bacteria and diseases. Not suitable for human consumption.
Feeding Tip
With food resources becoming scarcer, it is vital to support feeding garden birds all year round to prevent starvation. Ideally put out food at the start of the day to ensure that birds can replace the energy they have lost overnight. Where possible you should look to locate feeders near cover so that your garden birds feel secure and able to retreat to an area that is away from predators.
