The Natural Log Robin Box is crafted from a hollowed-out log, complete with its bark intact, creating a beautifully rustic and authentic look that blends effortlessly into garden or woodland settings. With a large open front, it’s ideal for robins, pied wagtails, and spotted flycatchers.
Made from air-dried, FSC-certified timber, the log offers excellent insulation thanks to its low thermal conductivity—keeping nesting birds warm and protected. The wood has a pale, natural tone, while the mottled brown bark adds to its organic charm. Despite its light weight, the structure is strong, durable, and resistant to cracking or splitting.
For easy maintenance, the hinged lid lifts by loosening a securing screw, allowing access for cleaning or inspection. The nest box can be easily mounted using the hole in the wooden back plate.
