Garden Wildlife Direct are delighted to introduce our new Premium Goldfinch mix – perfect for attracting the colourful Goldfinches to your garden plus Greenfinches, Chaffinches and Siskins.

Invite an abundance of colour and variety of finches to your garden spaces with our new seed mix as this variety of seeds and grains are perfect for attracting all the colourful Finch families.

The Garden Wildlife Direct Premium Goldfinch mix has been specially selected and triple cleaned to ensure the purity of this feed. The mix contains a variety of seeds including the essential oil seeds finches forage for in the wild that provide the protein and carbohydrates required for all year feeding. This new exciting mix contains the Goldfinch favourite of Niger seed and also includes safflower and canary seed to provide a feast for these colourful birds that supports keeping them warm through winter.

Please note that the larger quantities of the Premium Goldfinch Mix are delivered as 25.1kg (2x 12.55kg) in polypropylene sacks.

Ingredients

Niger seed, Safflower, wild seeds, canary seed, hempseed, red millet, linseed, oilseed rape, vegetable oil.

Suitable Feeders

Goldfinches & Greenfinches - Seed Feeders with small ports, Feeding Stations

Chaffinches & Siskins - Ground Feeders, Bird Tables

Storage

We recommend storing your bird food in an airtight container in a cool and dry location, to ensure that it remains fresh for the period up to the best before date.

Hygiene

Always ensure wild birds have plenty of fresh, clean water for drinking and bathing. Clean feeding and drinking areas regularly with a mild disinfectant. Keep food fresh and dry, removing any wet food to prevent the spread of bacteria and diseases. Not suitable for human consumption.

Feeding Tips

With food resources becoming scarcer, it is vital to support feeding garden birds all year round to prevent starvation. Ideally put out food at the start of the day to ensure that birds can replace the energy they have lost overnight. Where possible you should look to locate feeders near cover so that your garden birds feel secure and able to retreat to an area that is away from predators.
