Premium Blackbird High Energy Seed Mix (Dog Friendly)

Garden Wildlife Direct are delighted to introduce our new Premium Blackbird High Energy mix - perfect for attracting an abundance of colour and variety of wild birds to your garden.  Blackbirds and Songbirds love fruity mixes, usually the mixes contain raisins which are harmful when injested by dogs.  Our mix contains dried apricots, a safe alternative, and still loved by Blackbirds and Songbirds.  

The Garden Wildlife Premium Blackbird High Energy mix has been specially selected and triple cleaned to ensure the purity of this feed. The mix contains a variety of seeds that provide the protein and carbohydrates required for all year feeding, this feast also supports keeping them warm through winter and the colder and wet seasons. The fats in the high - quality beef in the berry suet pellets also provide an additional energy booster to provide the fuel that birds need to keep them active and healthy throughout the year.

Please note that the larger quantities of the Blackbird High Energy Seed Mix are delivered as 25.1kg (2x 12.55kg) polypropylene sacks.

Sunflower hearts, pinhead oatmeal, wheat, flaked naked oats, peanut granules, berry suet pellets, diced apricot & vegetable oil.

Storage

We recommend storing your bird food in an airtight container in a cool and dry location, to ensure that it remains fresh for the period up to the best before date.

Hygiene

Always ensure wild birds have plenty of fresh, clean water for drinking and bathing. Clean feeding and drinking areas regularly with a mild disinfectant. Keep food fresh and dry, removing any wet food to prevent the spread of bacteria and diseases. Not suitable for human consumption.

Feeding Tips

With food resources becoming scarcer, it is vital to support feeding garden birds all year round to prevent starvation. Ideally put out food at the start of the day to ensure that birds can replace the energy they have lost overnight. Where possible you should look to locate feeders near cover so that your garden birds feel secure and able to retreat to an area that is away from predators.
