A great value heavy duty Squirrel deterrant cage to sit over your hanging feeders.  Deter squirrels and larger birds from your hanging feeders with this ingenious cage.  Made from strong heavy duty metal and finished in beautiful dark green, this cage has both functionality and looks at a great price.

This will work with feeders with handles up to 7.5cm wide.  The cage height is 42.5cm, please bear in mind if your feeder is longer than this that it will protrude from beneath the cage.  When measuring the height please do not include the hanger in the height of the feeder.

* A note on squirrel protection although this feeder is squirrel and large bird proof we cannot guarantee that the most determined squirrels or large birds won’t get inside of the feeder, particularly juvenile squirrels and birds which are far more agile than the adults.  Birds with particularly long beaks may also be able to access the feeder inside of the guardian. The bars on these feeders cannot be made smaller to protect from adolescent or red squirrels as this would pose a risk to the birds.
