Best looking fat ball/block feeder by a mile Review by Coral
I saw this feeder last year and it was out of stock, so delighted I could get it here. The cage works well keeping out squirrels and large birds, but the starlings get in. Had fun watching a squirrel sliding off the sloping roof! I am slightly concerned the clip lock will loosen over time and then it will be useless as it hangs from the lid. It is a good brand, so I am hoping not. (Posted on 02/07/2019)

Does what it says. Food lasts longer as starlings struggle . (Posted on 13/05/2018)

Attractive suet ball feeder. Review by Sue Lupton
This was bought to alternate with the same type of feeder for cleaning purposes. Our older feeder is showing signs of wear with the paint starting to peel off the roof. Having said that it is an attractive feeder which stops the bigger birds getting in. (Posted on 29/03/2018)

Sturdy feeder Review by Richard Salter
Bought to help the smaller birds get some food as the starlings just decimated the fat in our previous feeder, leaving the other birds no chance, and a lot was falling to the ground. This feeder is quite large, much bigger than we realised, and certainly not cheap, but looks solid and well made. It has a smooth slanted roof on which the larger birds are unable to land. The food column holds a huge amount if you fill it up, and the outer mesh is a good size for bluetits, longtails, sparrows etc to reach the food safely - we have seen multiple fledglings being shown the ropes since changing to this feeder. The starlings took a while to figure out how to get to the food, and it is clearly harder work for them than our previous feeder was, but because it is so much more effort, they are taking less even when they have brought their own young to feed. We have also attached a plant-pot saucer underneath this feeder which catches most of the dropped fat, greatly reducing the amount falling to the floor - so less mess and less wastage. We would buy this again and are considering buying the seed version next. (Posted on 18/06/2017)

Patience is a virtue! Review by Beth
This is a very well made feeder and ideal to keep the larger birds from eating all the fat balls. The feeder has been up for three weeks and only now have the smaller birds worked out how to get through the bars to feed and have the confidence to do so. Now there is a feeding frenzy and I am filling up the feeder every other day.....so patience is a virtue. (Posted on 11/05/2017)
