The Squirrel Buster

Does most of the seed you put into your feeder get eaten by unwanted guests rather than our smaller feather friends? Do you have a problem with Squirrels, Jackdaws, Magpies or Pigeons.

Well the brilliant "Squirrel Buster" from Brome will stop squirrels and the larger birds from feeding from it. This feeder is part of an award-winning designed range of feeders that are the only ones on the market to 100% Squirrel Proof and not a mild deterrant like all other feeders.

Using the squirrel's weight against itself, when the squirrel lands on or grabs the feeder the ports are covered preventing the squirrel from being able to get to the food, even if they shake the feeder!!

The same principle works for larger bird, their heavier weight will result in the feeding ports being closed when the birds land on the perches. The sensitivity of the feeder can be easy altered so you can customise at what weight the ports close - with the free information guide, you can see the weight of a variety of birds and determine which ones you want to be able to feed in your garden.

The Squirrel Buster can hold up to 750g of seed.

Dimensions: 33cm x cm

Comes complete with a two year manufactory’s warranty.

The best feeder you will ever buy.

Available in a several seed sizes and a Peanut and Niger version.

This is the second squirrel buster seed feeder I have purchased and although they are not cheap, I am sure I must save the same amount in stopping the squirrels raiding the feeder. It gives me much satisfaction in seeing the rats with a furry tail thwarted each time! (Posted on 12/06/2018)

It seems to be working well. Now the only problem is, because the feeder has 3 tubes more food is added and the birds are eating me it of house and home. (Posted on 26/05/2018)

The squirrels gave up immediately and have actually stopped visiting all my feeders. Great being dishwasher proof as I want to protect the finches now visiting our garden again. Recommended. (Posted on 23/05/2018)
Superb Quality seed Feeder Review by Peter Fall

At last a bird feeder that should last a long time without rusting through and falling apart. The small birds love it and can feed in peace - the large birds do get some food, but only that which falls to the ground beneath the feeder. So far I am extremely pleased with this feeder and the peanut feeder which I purchased at the same time. (Posted on 01/05/2018)

Got rid of the squirrels - now what about the starlings? Review by Diana

Has anyone got a bright idea on how to stop flocks of starlings descending on these feeders and emptying them in minutes? We have tried to adjust the spring but I think it's on for the lightest bird already. Such a shame as the small birds love these feeders but once the starlings arrive they are shut out. Apart from anything else, it's costing me a fortune in bird food! (Posted on 13/11/2017)

The squirrels have deserted my garden in droves and, much as I like them, I am not sorry to see them defeated by these feeders. I thought about buying the very big one, but worry that the seed may get damp and go off. (Posted on 16/08/2017)
