Siting:

We recommend fixing this next box on a tree, wall, fence or building at least 1.5-2m above ground for a secure fitting. To ensure this bird shelter avoids rain and strong sunlight, it's best to face East (SE or NE is also fine)(UK advice only). The direction of the entrance hole should not face prevailing wind and should have a clear flight path to and from the next box. Please situate away from easy access by cats and other predators.
