The Hedgehog Retreat from Wildlife World is designed to be a safe haven for our spikey, nocturnal friends. It features a sturdy, rustproofed steel frame with an FSC certified waterproof lining, an integrated predator defence tunnel, and a rustic natural rattan finish.
Providing Hedgehogs with a safe and long lasting refuge will increase their survival rate as Hedgehogs are declining at an increasing rate. Around 25% of Hedgehogs do not survive from one year to the next, this is due to a variety of factors such as: an absence of safe habitats, road deaths, bonfires, garden tools, poinsonous slug pellets and modern agricultural techniques.
